News LettersCurrent IssueDear Family, Shalom. May the grace and peace of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah, be with you! Many great and exciting things are happening in our personal life and the life of the ministry. On June 27th, Melissa, Oriah, and I were blessed to welcome the newest addition to our family, the most beautiful, sweet girl in the world, Eden Adi Rosenblit (I am a proud father, indeed!). Once again, we are amazed by the wonderful gift of life that God has blessed us with. Our family has also relocated to Israel to oversee all the work that God has entrusted to us. I am truly blessed and touched as I see the effect of the ministry's work in peoples' lives. Again and again, we hear comments from people about the hope and blessing in their lives as a result of our love and support. I give the glory to God, for it is He alone who enables us to accomplish the task set before us. One of the communities that we were (and are still) privileged to bless is a small community, which is located on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip, "A Community Under Fire". On one hand, I was blessed to meet with the head of this community and to see the big smile on his face as he shared with me about the hope that our project to secure a building there has brought them. (Please see the thank you letter on the following page) On the other hand, it was hard to hear about the harsh reality that these people endure on a daily basis. During the past seven years, over 500 rockets have fallen on this community; of these, over 300 have fallen since Israel pulled out from the Gaza Strip (August, 2005) in efforts to bring "peace" between the two peoples. Many people are leaving this community because of the constant attacks. One of the main sources of income that they have is the daycare center, where people from neighboring Israeli villages bring their children. The grim reality is that the teachers who work there are confined to the buildings and the children cannot play outside most of the time. The falling rockets are the obvious reason for this. As a result, many families have pulled their children from the center, which has left this community in a tough position financially. The people are tired of hearing empty promises from the different government officials who come to visit, and they desperately need help. We at Hope for Israel ministries are privileged to bring a small blessing of hope and joy to these people.
