Friday, February 24
Today starts in Safed, one of the four holy cities in Israel, where we will visit an artists' colony and candle factory. From there we drive through beautiful mountain roads to the city of Nahariya and then visit the residential community of Shimshit for a 'one on one' hospitality visit to family’s homes and Shabbat dinner. Saturday, February 25
We start our day with a visit to the Bethsaida National Park with a Bible study where we will study some of our Messiah’s teaching at the Mount of Beatitudes. Continuing onto Capernaum, we will visit an ancient synagogue and Peter's home, which stand side by side. We end our day with a short walk on the Mt. Arbel Cliff for a bird's eye view of the Sea of Galilee and the mountainous northern part of Israel. We finish our day with a relaxing afternoon near the Sea of Galilee. Overnight: Sea of Galilee
Sunday, February 26
Today we leave the Sea of Galilee. On our way south we’ll enter the Jordan Valley, an important area for Israel’s defense, drive along the border of Israel and Jordan, and pass by biblical Jericho and Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. In the afternoon we will take a wonderful walk in David’s Canyon. Overnight: Near the Dead Sea
Monday, February 27
A cable car ride will take us to Massada, listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO (those who wish can walk up the “Snake Path” at sunrise). We’ll take a “living history” tour of King Herod’s palace-fortress and hear the dramatic story of the Jewish Zealots in their rebellion against the Romans. We then visit a few scenic spots representing the beauty of the Negev (Israeli desert), take a camel ride, enjoy a special Bedouin Hafla, an authentic and festive Bedouin lunch, and then end our day by relaxing at a Dead Sea spa. Tuesday, February 28
Today we drive to God’s city – Jerusalem! On our way we will stop at the site of the Good Samaritan and then begin our visit in Jerusalem, the historical capital of the Jewish people, and capital of the State of Israel, with an overlook of Jerusalem from Mount Scopus. Continuing on, we’ll go the Old City and enter the Jewish Quarter through the Zion Gate. We’ll stroll through narrow ancient alleyways and visit such important sites as the Burnt House, the Temple Institute, and the Davidson Center at the southern archeological park. Overnight: Jerusalem
Wednesday, February 29
We begin the day with a visit to the Temple Tunnels for an exciting underground walk through history. We’ll continue to the Pool of Bethesda and then exit through the Lion’s Gate. In the afternoon, we visit the Western Wall and explore the City of David. Afterwards, we’ll spend time at Ben Yehuda Street, a popular area to experience Israeli culture. Overnight: Jerusalem
Thursday, March 1
Today starts with a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Afterwards, we will explore Mt. Herzl by visiting the Herzl Museum. From there we’ll go to the famous Jerusalem Marketplace to experience life as people live today in Jerusalem. In the early evening we will enjoy a special light and sound show at David’s Tower. Overnight: Jerusalem
Friday, March 2
We begin our last day in Israel with a beautiful lookout over the Golden City from the Mt. of Olives and then follow in the path of our Messiah’s footsteps down to Gethsemane. We finish our experience in Israel with a special time at the Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we can remember the Messiah’s crucifixion, burial and resurrection. In the evening we’ll participate in a traditional Sabbath reception and have a farewell dinner. Afterwards we’ll head to the airport for our late evening transatlantic flight back home.

Arrive back home in the afternoon.
